  The video contents were what I gathered and scrapped from old videos of a previous project. My original plan was to video myself cooking something, but I ran out of time before I could so I had decided to use the alternate method of finding an old video I thought would've fit a portion of the piece. This was all I could find so bear with it haha. puns. yeah...

The Rococo style of art gives off a light and fairy-like vibe to it. It is an art that uses mainly light, pastel colors such as white, baby pink, pale yellow, etc. to paint a playful, less formal portrait. In a Rococo painting, the subjects tend to be little-affected by the shadows that cover their backgrounds; almost as if they're glowing in the light. Bawat isa sa atin ay may kanya kanyang karanasan; masaya, malungkot, mahirap, o mapaghamon. Iba’t ibang panahon, iba’t ibang pagkakataon. Bawat isa sa atin ay konektado sa isa’t isa. Kahit lugaw lang ang hinanda ng aking Mommy at Daddy, lasap na lasap ng mga bata ang sarap nito dahil siguro ito ay tauspusong ginawa para sa kanila. Makikita mo talaga sa kanilang mga mukha ang tuwa at saya habang sila ay nakapila para kumuha ng lugaw. Hindi ko lubos na mapaliwanag ang naramdaman ko noong merong lumapit sa akin na bata na nagpapasalamat. Hindi ko man masyadong naintindihan ang kanyang mga sinabi, pero ramdam na ramdam ko ang kanyang saya. Hinihikayat ko lahat na magtabi na kahit konte para ipamahagi sa napakaraming kapus-palad na nangangailangan ng tulong. Tulad ng aking mga magulang na...

Accents. An accent is something you pick up from the moment you are taught how to speak; it it influenced by your parents, caretakers, teachers, your surroundings, and the media you consume. Most children learn their vocabulary from the things they observe; such as television shows, cartoons, the people around them. And with that vocabulary comes an accent. Just like how many young children who watch Peppa Pig end up speaking in a British accent regardless of where they're from. I did my best in doing the British accent, and although I'm not too good at it right now- as heard in the videos, my accent keeps faltering, I will do my best to improve myself in order to properly commit to this lovely accent.

 Sfumato, Unione, Chiaroscuro,  and Cangiante. The 4 big styles of the classical periods. For a quick overview; Sfumato is a line-less style developed by Leonardo Da Vinci himself. Da Vinci was always keen on the compositions and the art of life and wanted to emulate it through his own art.  The Sfumato technique incorporates soft, gradual gradients of shadows and light, creating a sort of blurry or vague deep quality to the painting. His Mona Lisa for instance showcases this technique best. The sfumato technique often features muted, brownish tones. With my very  limited materials as well as very limited skill and experience with the medium, I did my very best to try and emulate this style. Although I wouldn't say it's my best output, I do want to explore more of this technique for future projects-both for school and personal reasons. The next style is Unione. Defense of a Filipina Woman's Honor is one of many of Fernando Amorsolo's Word War ll-Era works. It shows a Filipino man holding a bolo, defending a tatter-clothed woman; either his wife or daughter from being raped by an unseen Japanese soldier; Note the Japanese military cap by his foot. Although it isn't very clear, the background shows a small table with what appears to be an basket or bowl of sorts as well as a few candles. To the right, a bed, likely belonging to the woman, disheveled from her struggling against her assailant. His WW2 paintings depict the suffering and turmoil of Manila from his point of view. Fernando Cueto Amorsolo was one of the most important and inspirational Artist of the Philippines. He was a portraitist and painter of rural Philippine landscapes.
